tion. If God had never

loved us and yet still sent

His Son, could we be

saved? Absolutely!

Whether our sin debt was

paid out of love or some

other motivation, as long

as it was paid the door of

salvation would be open.

So, with I Cor. 15 in

hand, I know that truths

#1, #2, and #5 are key to

the gospel. For Jesus to

be fit to be the sin payer

He had to be sinless. That

makes the incarnation

critical. Because Jesus’

death was sufficient to

pay for all sin makes our

works of no effect to take

away sin.

Christian thinkers say

there are only about seven

basic ideas that have

changed the world. Ponder

that statement for a mo-

ment. If there really are

only seven basic truths

that have had the power to

change our world, then any

person knowing them and

promoting them will have a

profound effect on the part

of the world near them.

These seven truths will

make someone a

“dangerous” person.

The part of the world

nearest you and me is our

family, our church, our

work place, and our neigh-

borhood. These places

include both saved and

lost people. In the midst of

our decaying society, you

and I can promote ideas

that have historically prov-

en will change the world.

Because these ideas have

changed the world they are

dangerous to the status

quo.

Those believers whom

God has gifted with the

ability to think Biblically,

logically, and with histori-

cal context have identified

those seven dangerous,

world-changing truths as

these:

1. The resurrection from the dead,

2. The incarnation of God, 3. The creation had a beginning and order,

4. The recognition that there is evidence for God,

5. The salvation of man is not by works,

6. The value of man comes from his Creator, and

7. The purposefulness of suffering.

As a leader of a gospel

telling ministry, I am most

interested in those truths

which are directly related to

explaining the gospel. Of

these seven truths, I see at

least four of them that re-

late to the gospel, and

probably a fifth.

THE GOSPEL

No more succinct de-

scription of the gospel can

be found than in I Cor.

15:3,4. I hope you can

quote it. At its core the gos-

pel is that Christ died for

our sins, He was buried,

and that He arose from the

dead. These three key

points are rooted in God’s

CREATION

I also see the truth of

God being the Creator as

vital to the gospel. Based

on Acts 14:15 and 17:24,

creation was included in

Paul’s explanation of the

gospel. The more non-

Biblically based your socie-

ty, the more vital it is to

explain who this God is that

is offering a rescue from

sin.

Gospel tellers need to

depend on the Creator God

when sharing the gospel. 2

Cor. 4:4-6 says that only

the God who could pierce

the world with His voice to

create is powerful enough

to pierce with His Word into

the blind souls of men.

Those receiving the

gospel need to grasp the

reason God wants to save

sinners. Despite their will-

ful flaunting of their disobe-

dience of God, He loves

them. All people are His

creatures and are made in

His image. So, dangerous

truth #3 is important.

DISTINCTION OF MAN

You may or may not

see the need to make truth

#6 part of the greater gos-

pel story, but I do. God has

made mankind distinct and

of greater value than any

other part of His creation.

As was said above, people

were made in the image of

God.

Biblical theologians

will speak of man’s natu-

ral image of God and

man’s moral image. Our

natural image notes that

human beings have intel-

lect, can rationalize, are

immortal, have a will, and

we are creative beings.

Our moral image speaks

to the fact that we were

made holy, righteous, and

with a knowledge of God.

Sin ruined our moral

image. Now, all are dead

in trespasses and sins.

Unsaved people can still

be brilliant in the intellec-

tual realm but remain

dead in the moral realm.

They need to be born

again, be regenerated.

LIGHT A CANDLE

One of our nation’s

founders, Ben Franklin,

said, “Instead of cursing

the darkness, light a can-

dle.” By no means would I

ever say he was a Chris-

tian, but Mr. Franklin ex-

pressed a Biblical princi-

ple. Christ has called us to

shine as lights in our

world (Mt. 5:16, Phil.

2:15).

The first century was

an era of believers shining

God’s light. Jesus is the

light. Jesus is the ultimate

communication of God to

men (Heb. 1:2). As early

believers shared the gos-

pel, were scattered with

the gospel, and suffered

for the gospel they changed

the world.

In our lifetime we have

read the heroic stories of

the saints found in the book

of Acts. We have used their

lives as teachers on how to

present the gospel. We

have challenged multiple

generations for missionary

service by the lives of these

early believers. Now, in our

country and in this genera-

tion, it is time to take a fur-

ther step. We must imitate

the lives who shared, were

scattered, and who suf-

fered.

The Church changed

the world by proclaiming

seven dangerous truths. I

doubt they ever listed them

out as has been done in

this century, but they

preached them none-the-

less. We must do it again.

I am no philosopher,

but, I don’t need to be and

neither do you. All we need

to know is what those truths

are that are proven world

changers and then tell

them. That is something

every child of God can do.

Do you see our world

becoming more dangerous?

If you do then respond by

becoming more dangerous

yourself. Declare and de-

fend these dangerous

truths. Do it in the power

and love of God. Have a

multi-generation mindset

and go change your world.

“Sirs, why do ye these

things? We also are

men of like passions

with you, and preach unto you that ye should

turn from these vani-

ties unto the living

God, which made heav-

en, and earth, and the

sea, and all things that are therein:”

Acts 14:15

TESTIMONY

My soul is uplifted as I read the

many fruits your work is bearing

in the different parts of this world,

and say thanks to you for the

work you are doing by your tract

ministry, your preaching ministry

and whatever you do for the ser-

vice of the Lord. Today I’m

thanking God for Caribbean Ra-

dio Lighthouse where I heard

your program and was encour-

aged to write to you and have a

little part in sharing the gospel

message here in Anguilla by the

tracts I receive from the ministry .

. . There is a need in these days

for more preachers like you men

who are preaching in season out

of season doing the best you can

that souls would come to know

the Lord Jesus preaching the

gospel the truth of God’s word in

the way that He has bid you.

TESTIMONY

Warm Greetings from Equatorial Guinea in the name of the Lord

Jesus Christ! We have been greatly blessed by the Christian

literature and tracts you have provided us with, and have re-

ceived the package you have sent. We would like to thank you

for coming along side our ministry. All of the tracts have been

distributed. We are running a Bible School here where we train

pastors and leaders for the churches in the country. We are also

blessed to have the freedom to openly preach the word of God

and distribute Christian literature. Unfortunately, the supply of

Christian literature in this country is very limited and as a result

we are one of the main suppliers of tracts. The tracts you sent

us have been put to good use and have most certainly furthered

the work of the gospel. We pray that the Lord will bless you as

you continue your work, and that your work in turn be a blessing

to others as it has been to us.

Printing 1 MILLION TRACTS

IN PAKISTAN !

We need your help! This summer 1 million of

our tracts will be printed in Pakistan. This size pro-ject required the hiring of a Muslim company with believers overseeing.

By mid-winter those 1 million tracts will have

been distributed. Based on our 5 year track record we fully expect to see:

500,000 people will read a tract

250,000 will ask for more literature

80,000 will start a Bible correspondence course

40 - 50,000 will receive Christ as their Savior

(This is not exaggerated. It is based on history.)

PROJECT COST:

$15,000

($5,000 already given)

OUR NEEDS:

PRAYER : that the government does not interfere;

that our co-workers are safe.

FUNDS: $10,000 to complete the printing

Please consider a one-time gift toward this project. Many Muslims are turning to

atheism. We need to give them Christ.

“Is not my word like a fire? saith the Lord; and like a

hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?” Jeremiah 23:29

I Have Plenty of TimeI Have Plenty of Time

This tract for teens confronts

them with the brevity and un-

certainty of life. It is simple,

clear, and challenging.

Have You Found Have You Found

Rest?Rest?

Matthew 11:28 is an invita-

tion to come to Christ. Rest

for the soul is the core of

what the gospel accomplish-

es. This tract urges people to

come just as they are to be

saved. Cleaning your life

happens because of salva-

tion, not to gain it. A good

tract for people raised in

church but yet unsaved.
