DDTE 2013 POST SHOW REPORT Dubai 2013 In Association with The Premier Specialised Event for the Beverage Industry The 6 th Edition of the premier specialised event for the beverage Industry in the Middle East Dubai Drink Technology Expo (DDTE) was held from 16th to 18th December 2013 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre. DDTE 2013 showcased the innovations in the beverage processing systems, machinery , packaging and cutting edge products that will have a positive impact for the regions Beverage Industry. The three day exhibition brought Substantial results to all the participants, exhibitors , visitors, conference speakers and delegates with high quality participation. Overall , both exhibitors and visitors met their goals and expectations by meeting the key players and decision makers in the industry. The event kindled new friendships and partnerships thus creating a synergy to the fast growing Middle East Beverage Market. Director General of the Department of Economic Development inaugurated the sixth edition of the Dubai Drink Technology Expo (DDTE) H.E. Sami Al Qamzi was accompanied by a number of officials and specialists from the beverage technology industry in the UAE and the region. H.E. Sami Al Qamzi and the accompanying delegates toured in the exhibition and were delighted by the increase in exhibiting companies. The VLB Berlin, Based in Germany is One of the World's Leading Institutes for Research and Service in the Field of Beverage Products conducted a three day workshop covering topics including PACKAGING, BOTTLING, ENERGY & QUALITY CONTROL attended by specialists from the Beverage Sector, Production Managers, Quality Control, Chemical Engineers, Microbiologists, Project Managers and Brand Managers.

DDTE was attended by over 100 exhibitors from 35 countries whom were keen to display and share their latest techniques and trends in the beverage industry.

91% of exhibitors consider that the regional market will grow or remain stable over the12 months.90% of exhibitors confirmed their interest in participating at the 2014 edition of DDTE.87% of exhibitors regarded DDTE as an important part of their marketing strategy in the region.80% of exhibitors would recommend exhibiting at DDTE in the future.25% indicated interest in increasing their exhibit space next year. 0
