SUMMER CAMP 2020 YMCA of Broome County
BEST SUMMER! EVER
DEAR FAMILY,
Welcome!
This is going to be the best summer ever! At the Y, we play sports, engage in our newly
featured S.T.E.M. activities, swim and build character! The YMCA helps all children reach their
full potential by supporting their unique youth development journeys.
This summer your child can choose a S.T.E.M., Sports or Combo camp. Children who participate
in S.T.E.M. activities learn how to problem solve, work successfully in teams, and develop
self-confidence. Teamwork and sportsmanship are taught while children learn to shoot hoops,
kick, dribble, create art and so much more in our Sports camp! Come and join us on a new,
exciting adventure. We look forward to making this a great summer filled with memories for
your child.
Tania Barnes
Sr. Director of Youth Development
Your kids will experience a summer full of adventure and new friendships. They will explore,
create and have fun. They will try new things, experience science and learn the power of a belly laugh.
They will be surrounded by new experiences, trained camp counselors who will work to make sure the
summer is filled with lasting memories.
OUR PROMISE
