ITINERARY

Day 01 - Monday: Departure

Board your International flight to Cairo; we offer departures from most major Cities in the USA and Canada. You need a valid Canadian or American passport with blank pages. Your passport should expire six months after your intended Return date; Even a day difference will deny you boarding.

Day 02 - Tuesday: Arrival in Cairo

Upon landing in Egypt, purchase your visa by filling out an application form provided at the airport and submit application fee paid in USD cash per person. Once finished you will meet our Representative who will assist you with the transfer to your Hotel. Overnight in Cairo. Accommodation: Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences or Similar. Upgrade at extra cost to: Marriott Mena House Hotel or Four Seasons Nile Plaza Cairo. Meals included today: No Meals. Activities included today: Arrival in Cairo.

Day 03 - Wednesday: Cairo

Breakfast at your Hotel. Join your Guide for a day of sightseeing visiting: The Royal Necropolis of Sakkara where you visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser considered the oldest in Egypt. The Ancient City of Memphis, the first Capital of Egypt, visit the Colossus of Ramses II. Lunch at a local Restaurant. After Lunch, the tour continues with a visit to The Grand Pyramids of Cairo & Sphinx, tour one of the most Famous sites in Egypt and one of the seven wonders of the ancient world; take your picture while riding a camel. Return to your Hotel for overnight in Cairo. Accommodation: Hilton Cairo Zamalek Residences or Similar. Meals included today: Breakfast at your Hotel, Lunch at a local Restaurant. Activities included today: Guided visits to The Step Pyramid of Sakkara, Colossus of Ramses II in Memphis, and the Grand Pyramids of Cairo & Sphinx.

Day 04 - Thursday: Cairo - Luxor - Cruise Embarkation

After breakfast transfer to the airport for your flight to Luxor. Time of transfer and Domestic Flight Tickets will be provided on the first day of your arrival to Cairo. Upon arrival transfer to your Nile River Cruise, MS Semiramis. The Ship has sixty-six cabins with private bathroom and large panoramic windows. All meals are included onboard the cruise, but not drinks, bottled water, coffee/tea, and other beverages are available at an extra cost. Daily offshore excursions included. Excursions are Guided by a Licensed English-Speaking Egyptologist. 13:00 Lunch on board. 14:30 After lunch, meet your Guide at the Ship's reception. Join him for visits to Luxor and Karnak Temples. - Luxor Temple: Parallel to the River Nile, Luxor Temple is a magnificent example of Egyptian temple architecture, along with Karnak Temple this was one of the most sacred and important Temples of Ancient

Thebes (now Luxor City) This temple was dedicated to Amun Ra, King of Gods and his wife Mut (Goddess of War). Another site worth mentioning is the Mosque of Abu El Hagag which was built on top of the buried ruins of Luxor Temple; after the Temple was uncovered the Mosque was preserved and is still a place of worship until today. - Karnak Temple: Located on the East bank this is the largest temple complex in Egypt Built over a period of 1300 years to honor the god Amun of Thebes, his wife Mut, and Sons. An impressive complex of over 25 Temples full of Sanctuaries, big columns, and Obelisks. At least thirty Pharaohs have been represented here over time. One of the highlights is the Hypostyle Hall with 134 enormous pillars, certainly an awe-inspiring place. 17:30 Return to the Ship for afternoon Tea. 20:00 Dinner on board. 21:30 Enjoy music in the lounge. 06:00 Wake-up call. 06:00 Breakfast on board. 07:00 Early morning Join your Egyptologist Guide for a visit to the West Bank (Valley of the Kings, Hatshepsut Temple). Visit the Nile West Bank to see the famous Necropolis for pharaohs and nobles: The Valley of the Kings most well known for being the place where Tutankhamun's Tomb was discovered. Tutankhamun's treasures are now

in Cairo's Egyptian Museum. The Valley of the Kings is a World Heritage site, many of the tombs are closed to the public, and your guide will direct you to the ones that are open. - Queen of Hatshepsut Temple: Dedicated to the first female Pharaoh, set at the head of the valley, this temple is the best example of Egyptian classical style architecture. Built to express the grandeur of the Pharaoh as well as honoring the gods that she would need in the afterlife. After her death, all of her statues were defaced by her son Tuthmosis III. Stop by the Colossi of Memnon: These are all that remains of the largest and most opulent Mortuary Temple of Amenhotep. 13:00 Return to the Ship for lunch. 17:30 Enjoy Afternoon Tea on board. 19:30 This evening join a Captain's welcome cocktail before dinner. 20:00 Dinner on board. 21:30 Enjoy music in the lounge. Day 06 - Saturday: Nile River Cruise

06:00 Wake-up call. 06:00 Early Breakfast on board. 07:00 Join your Egyptologist Guide for a visit to Edfu Temple, also known as Horus Temple. - Temple of Edfu, Built in the Greco-Roma Era this is the best preserved, and complete Egyptian temple, built to honor Horus, the falcon-headed god. The walls are lined with inscriptions and hieroglyphics depicting the age-old struggle between Horus and Seth. This impressive example of the Ptolemaic architecture is said to have taken 180 years to complete. Built in the Greco-Roma Era is the most well preserved and complete Egyptian temple. Return to the Ship, and continue sailing to Kom Ombo. 13:00 Lunch on board. 17:00 Enjoy afternoon tea on board.

17:30 Upon arrival in Kom Ombo join your Guide for a visit to the Temple of Kom Ombo - overlooking the Nile in the town of the same name located 45 km north of Aswan. Built to honor the crocodile and Falcon Gods Sobek and Horus, dating from 180 BC it has beautifully carved columns, some of them still keep their original brilliant colors. 20:00 Dinner on board followed by a Traditional Galabeya Party. Day 07 - Sunday: Nile River Cruise

07:00 Wake-up call. 07:30 Early Breakfast on board. 08:30 This morning join your Egyptologist Guide to visit The High Dam, The Granite Quarries with the Unfinished Obelisk and the Temple of Philae. - The High Dam: Bordering Egypt and Sudan, this is the world's largest dam, its construction finished in 1970. It changed the life of Egyptian people by providing flood protection, irrigation, and electricity to Egypt. Construction of the dam required the enormous task of relocating many ancient monuments along the banks of the Nile. A project that was only possible by using very advanced engineering and the cooperation of many Countries. - Granite Quarries with Unfinished Obelisk: Most of the red granite used to build Egypt's Temples and Tombs came from these quarries. Here lays the Unfinished Obelisk still attached to the bedrock. Abandoned when a crack appeared while working on it. Its weight is calculated at 110 tons and would have been the world's largest piece of solid stone ever carved. - Temple of Philae: On the island of Agilkia, lies the beautiful temple of Philae, dating from 380 BC. Erected to honor the goddess Isis, it was moved from its original location in 1960, relocated from the holy island of Philae in the middle of Lake Nasser. Many of the buildings and monuments were painstakingly moved from Philae, as it was continually flooded and eventually submerged in Lake Nasser. 13:00 Return to the Ship for Lunch. 19:30 Enjoy a Nubian Folkloric Show followed by Dinner on board. 21:30 Enjoy music in the lounge. Day 08 - Monday: Disembark Nile River Cruise - flight Aswan - Cairo

Breakfast on board. Later enjoy a Felucca Ride around Kitchener's Island & Agha Khan Mausoleum. A felucca is a traditional Egyptian sailing boat. This relaxing boat ride takes you around Elephantine Island (also known as Kitchener Island) home of the Botanical Gardens of Aswan. Disembark.

Optional tour at an extra cost: Visit the famous Temple of Abu Simbel; moved from its original sacred place to save it from flooding. This project is considered one of the greatest achievements in modern engineering. Fully Guided road excursion, includes boxed breakfast.

Our representative will transfer you to the airport for your flight back to Cairo. Time of transfer and Domestic Flight Tickets will be provided on the first day of your arrival to Cairo. Day 09 - Tuesday: Cairo - Amman

This morning our representative will transfer you to Cairo airport to board your flight to Amman. Upon arrival transfer to your Amman Hotel. Later visit the ancient City of Jerash, one of the most visited tourist destinations second only to Petra.

Jerash is one of the best-preserved cities of the Roman Empire in the world. The Ancient City of Jerash has been inhabited for more than 6500 years, coming under Roman rule in 63 BC. Continue with a scenic short drive through the beautiful valleys of northern Jordan to Ajlun. Visit Ajlun Castle, wander through the Castle's maze of corridors and enjoy the beautiful view of the country. Return to Amman overnight. Accommodation: Sulaf Hotel Amman or Similar. Upgrade at an extra cost to: Grand Millennium Amman. Meals included today: No meals. Activities included today: Travel by flight from Cairo - Amman. Enjoy a Jerash City Tour and visit Ajlun Castle.

Day 10 - Wednesday: Amman - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Wadi Rum

After breakfast depart by road to Wadi Rum, along the way you visit Mt. Nebo, Madaba. Mt. Nebo (also known as Siyagha), this mountain is a holy site and a memorial to the Prophet Moses. Mt. Nebo is where Moses is said to have seen the promised land. Enjoy views of the Jordan Valley, get a glimpse of Judah and Jericho on a clear day you can also see the dead sea. Continue your tour, drive approximately one hour for a visit to St. George's Greek Orthodox Basilica in Madaba, home to the oldest preserved and most detailed ancient map of the lands extending east and west of the River Jordan from Lebanon to Egypt, from the desert to the Mediterranean. Then Drive to Wadi Rum, the Valley of the Moon. Feel the romance and adventure of the Arabian Desert. Wadi Rum was the headquarter of Lawrence of Arabia during World War I in the fight against the Turkish Ottoman Empire. It was also the film set of the famous movie Lawrence of Arabia. Enjoy a two-hour tour of 4X4 Jeep exploring this magical moonscape desert region be amazed at the spectacular landscapes of towering cliffs and canyons. Next, You will be treated for a traditional Bedouin lunch at Wadi Rum. Dinner and Overnight in Wadi Rum at a Desert Campsite surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Day 11 - Thursday: Wadi Rum -Petra – Jerusalem (Cross by road at Allenby Bridge)

After breakfast, drive to Petra for a tour of this famous ancient site. Petra: The "Pink City" is the top tourist destination in Jordan and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site found between the Red Sea and the Dead Sea. Petra is unique in that the city was carved out of a massive rock face more than 2,000 years ago. Enter through the famous SIQ, an impressive long winding opening between the walls of two overhanging cliffs, Although you find many structures the most impressive are, The Treasury, The Amphitheater and The Ad-Deir Monastery looking over the valley and accessible by a flight of 800 stairs cut from the rock. After your tour of Petra, drive to Allenby Bridge to cross into Israel. Border crossing fees must be paid locally upon leaving. Board a shuttle bus and cross into Israel where our representative will meet you. Transfer to your Hotel overnight. Accommodation: St George Hotel or Similar. Upgrade at an extra cost to American Colony Jerusalem or similar. Meals included today: Breakfast. Activities included today: Tour the famous Ancient City of Petra. Day 12 - Friday: Jerusalem

After breakfast, spend the day touring Holy Jerusalem, at the crossroads of different civilizations where you will come across remains of ancient mosaics and treasures from the Roman and Byzantine period, the Crusaders and the Ottoman Empire to name but a few. In the Old City, you will encounter middle eastern charm and be plunged into the souk's picturesque alleys which take you to the meeting places of the three major monotheistic religions. Mount Zion, A holy site shared by people of Jewish, Christian and Muslim faiths, also known as the Temple Mount is the highest point of the ancient City of Jerusalem. Here you visit, The Tomb of King David, The Room of the Last Supper and Dormition Abbey. Continue for a walking tour of the Old City by visiting: The Byzantine Cardo: Located in the Old City of Jerusalem within the Jewish Quarter, the Cardo was Jerusalem's main street in Roman and Zantine times, you can find it outlined on the famous Madaba Map. Via Dolorosa: "The Way of Grief", in Latin. Via Dolorosa is located in the old city of Jerusalem where Jesus carried the cross of crucifixion. Church of the Holy Sepulcher: Known as the place of the crucifixion and the tomb of Jesus of Nazareth. Wailing Wall: Also known as the Western Wall is the most visited and sacred place for the Jewish faith. Overnight in Jerusalem. Accommodation: St George or Similar. Meals included today: Breakfast. Activities included today: Spend the day visiting the most well-known Holy sites in Jerusalem accompanied by an Expert Guide.

Day 13 - Saturday: Jerusalem - Bethlehem - Jericho - Amman (crossing at Allenby Bridge)

After breakfast at the Hotel, your Guide will take to visit Mount of Olives where you can get fantastic views of central Jerusalem. Mount of Olives: Mentioned in the New Testament as the place for Jesus teachings, it houses places of high importance to the three monotheistic religions such as Franciscan Chapel of Dominus Flevit, located on the upper slope of Mount of Olives from here you can get beautiful views of the Temple Mount.

The Shrine of the Ascension here is where the ascension of Jesus Christ into heaven happened. At the base of Mount of Olives is a Crusaders Church that marks the Tomb of Virgin Mary. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane: Walk amongst the ancient olive trees of this Garden, believed to be the place that Jesus and his disciples came to after the Last Supper. Next to the Garden is the Church of all Nations also Known as the Basilica of the Agony here is where Jesus prayed before his arrest. There is also a visit to the Church of the Pater Noster where Jesus taught his disciples. Continue to Bethlehem where it all began, visit: The Byzantine Church of The Nativity: One of the oldest surviving Christian churches, the church built over the assumed birthplace of Jesus of Nazareth. On the floor, beneath the altar, the exact spot where Jesus of Nazareth was born is marked by a fourteen-point silver star. Also, visit the Church of St. Catherine located adjacent to the Church of the Nativity. Chapel of St. Jerome. Descend to the Grotto where St. Jerome translated the Hebrew Bible into Latin. Milk Grotto: The Milk Grotto, this small Chapel is built in the place where the Holy Family took refuge during their escape to Egypt. Proceed to Jericho to see The Mount of Temptation; Admire the view from the bottom of the Mountain with its cliffhanging Monastery. After the tour, our representative will transfer you to Allenby Bridge for your border crossing into Amman. Before leaving Israel, you need to pay crossing border fees locally. After your crossing, our Representative will meet you there and drive you to Amman. Once in Amman enjoy a driving Panoramic Tour of the City with the possibility to stop and enjoy short walking through the city. Later on, drive to a local Restaurant for Dinner in Amman. After your dinner, our representative will transfer you to the airport for your return flight back home. Tour Ends.

Take the cable car to the top of the Mountain where this beautiful Fortress is located. Masada is a World Heritage List UNESCO site, built by Herod, the Great King of Judea. Make a stop by the shores of the Dead Sea to experience a "Dip" experience floating in its hypersaline waters.
