Bachelor of Social Work or Diploma of Community Welfare Work.

Knowledge and understanding of intake, assessment and response with a sound understanding of strengths based approach to service delivery.

An understanding of child development, family systems, ecological theory and demonstrated experience in working with vulnerable children and families with complex and multiple needs.

Ability to engage and assess client needs including risk assessments.

Child Protection experience &/or Intake experience with vulnerable children and families, including those who have experienced family violence, is high desirable.

Intermediate to advanced Computer literacy using MS Word, Outlook, Excel and efficient and effective data entry skills.

Excellent written including report writing skills, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
