This means that this years year 5 and 6 children will be leaving Berri Primary School at the end of 2021. At Berri Primary School we are committed to ensure that the transition to High School is a very smooth one and to ensure this we have started our planning now. We will make sure both groups of children are provided with the same opportunities in their final year. Things such as being able to purchase and wear a Year 6/7 jumper to school, Graduation ceremonies and opportunities to take on various leadership roles within the school. The transition process is yet to be determined but everyone will get ample opportunities to ensure that they feel comfortable with the move. I will keep you updated regularly with news and please don’t hesitate to contact me if you have any concerns. • Level 4 Pizza making with Mr Platt

On Thursday and Friday our Term 2 High Level achievers experienced the wonders of making

delicious pizzas with Mr Platt. There was not a crumb left! Well done everyone.

  • Hi everyone!

As we come to the end of the term, Student Leaders have

got some fun activities planned for students to join in with.

Here are some that are coming soon...

Junior SRC decided to have a Hot Dog day on Wednesday

July 1st. Every child should have received their order from, but

if not, there are spares in the office. Please return your order

with correct money to school by the end of Week 9.

As an end of term activity, Junior SRC are offering fresh

popcorn and will be delivering it to classes. SRC reps are

asking for a movie to happen as well, but class teachers will

be in charge of what happens when the popcorn arrives!

House Captains and I are meeting tomorrow afternoon to

discuss lunch time activities for students to join in with. At this

stage House vs House games such as tennis and basketball

are being discussed as well as lunch time games that can

involve students from R-7. This is a great opportunity for our

Student Leaders to get involved with students in their Houses

    and to encourage team spirit.

Senior SRC have focused on activities later in the year such as

the Colour Run and Relay for Life as well as a tie dye session

for classes. You’ll start to see these activities advertised early

    next term.

    Cheers

    Faye
