I. EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Retail, Office, Residential (Luxurious and High End) projects are currently in vogue in the real estate sector and a lotof Clients are moving to these segments of the market due to the Rapid development across cities. As a Study wehave analysed the movement of Construction cost along with key elements for the last five years and anticipatedmovement for the next three years based on present tax structure. We presume that the scenario will change onimplementation of GST (anticipated by 2017)
The movement of prices are based on our market study and our staff recent project involvement which is morenear to realistic cost data.
II. OBJECTIVE
The objective of this Benchmark Study is to track the cost of building and materials for the past 5 years and Future 3 Years. We note that the Major cost impact materials such as Cement and Steel are highly volatile along with Fuel (Diesel).
III. Benchmark Cities
Major Cities including Mumbai, Delhi (NCR), Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune and Kolkata are covered in this study
