I chose to have the art/eating area by the sink to that children could easily wash their hands. I chose to have the small manipulative area in a quite area next to the library to help children focus. I chose to have the large motor and block activity near each other because they are both louder activities. My pre-school does not have any nooks that I could not see, this helps with safety. The traffic pattern is open and free-flowing.

There was a little turtle, He lived in a box. He swam in a puddle He climbed upon the rocks. He snapped at a
mosquito. He snapped at a flea. He snapped at a minnow, And he snapped at me. He caught the mosquito, He caught the flea, He caught the minnow; But he didn't catch me!

I have ten fingers and they all belong to me I can make them do things Would you like to
see? I can shut them up tight Or open them wide I can put them together or make them all hide I can make them jump high I can make them go low I can fold them quietly and hold them just so
