Participants should be: (1) around 18-35 years old(2) mentally and physically sound(3) able to travel abroad by him/herself
Registration Fees 〈 Early Registration, due by 20th June 〉
- 65,000 JPY per person-120,000 JPY for two people (60,000 JPY for each person)
〈Late application, due by 30th June 〉
- 68,000 JPY per person-120,000 JPY for two people (60,000 JPY for each person)
Registration fees cover:Access to all activities in this program, food expenses (partially covered)and hotel expenses.
Registration fees do not cover:Air Plane ticket, overseas travel insurance, i.e passport issuance feeetc.

The 4th Worldwide Youth Uchinanchu Festival Philippines ・2015 Program
Participants will discuss what Uchinanchu Network is and should be. And then, they discuss how we
make good use of it and the 6th worldwide Uchinanchu Festival which will be held in 2016
Participants will share what they want to take back
home and implement in their own community. Who will be the Miss and Mister
the 4 th WYUF?!
Participants will perform their own traditional dance and sing current popular song all together!
You can enjoy shopping and sightseeing with your new friend from overseas!

Q1. I am not 18 – 35 years old. Can I still participate in the program?
A. You can attend as an observer. Contact us for more details.
Q2. Is it possible for non-Okinawan people to participate in this program?
A. Yes, Anyone who is interested in Okinawa is welcome to join!
Q3. I cannot speak Japanese, can I still apply for this program?
A. Yes, emcee will speak English and Japanese.
Q4. What language is mainly spoken during this program?
A. English and Japanese.
Q5. Is there anything that I need to prepare before going to Philippines?
A. Yes, please prepare your family tree poster or PowerPoint to introduce during “Gajumaru
Family Tree” program. Contact us for more details.
Q6. Can I show my performance during this event?
A. Yes, you can perform Opening ceremony, welcome party (September 10), Closing
ceremony and grand finale (September 14). Contact us for more details.
Q7. Who are going to l participate in this event?
A. Young people from all over the world! This year, young people from Bolivia, U.S.A and
Hawaii will attend as well! Some of them are university students and the others are graduated
from university and working now. They are interested in Okinawa and want to connect with people
who love Okinawa.
Q8. I want to participate in this event but I can attend only one day.
A. If there are undersubscribed, you are available to attend. Please feel free to ask and let us
know what date you would like to participate.

A. 70 days prior to the festival --- 50 %
