Two stereo loudspeakers are installed in the chassis as standard and enable the BEETLE /Fusion to be used not only as a POS system, but also as a cus- tomer information system. The VESA-compatible mounting solution means that the BEETLE / Fusion can be used not only as a desktop model but also as a wall- mounted system. The BEETLE /Fusion offers a wide range of extremely energy-saving Intel Mobile processors and covers a broad performance spectrum – from Atom to the Core 2 Duo pro- cessor technology. Together with the integrated and system pow- ered peripherals that dispense with the need for further power supply units, power consumption and so total cost of ownership (TCO) are reduced significantly. The power supply unit fulfils the strict Energy Efficiency Level V marking protocol and runs with a constant efficiency of more than 87 %. That is good for the environ- ment and reduces the user’s oper- ating costs. Like all BEETLE systems, the BEETLE /Fusion has integrated remote management functions and has been specially developed with an eye to efficient serviceability. These product features increase system availability, simplify admin- istration and help reduce the TCO. The usage of embedded chip sets and processors ensure long lifecy- cles of the product.
