Bedouin Houses•Often 30-40 meters long•Divided into 2 areas: The public area and women’s areas•Outside matters aren’t discussed in the tent•Holes in the fabric let in air•Most of the houses are woven out of goat hair•Tents are called beit
Bedouin Garments•Low maintence dress•Some of the dresses are black others are colorful like these•Some dresses contain headdresses which incorporates their babies into the outfit•Women wear silver or gold ankle bracelets
•They wear jackets and some even bright blue•Wedding dresses are simple unless you can afford better
Bedouin Culture•Good manners are important to the Bedouin families•Coffee is given to visitors•Health and family are mentioned in discussions before business•The worst sin is to cause a quarrel in someone else's house•To refuse a third cup of coffee is a very serious matter•To accept a third cup of coffee is to consider yourself a part of the family
