with the Philippians his motivation for

preaching the message of Jesus. The deep

experience of Christ’s presence in his life

propelled Paul to continue his mission,

regardless of the hardships he faced. As we

draw near to the end of Lent, may the

words of St. Paul spur us on, “I continue

my pursuit in hope that I may possess it.”

We may not attain all our goals during this

Lent, or however many years we have left

on this planet. Yet, if we imitate the

perseverance of St. Paul, we will certainly

attain the same reward-eternal life!

En la segunda lectura de hoy, San Pablo comparte con los filipenses su motivación para predicar el mensaje de Jesús. La profunda experiencia de la presencia de Cristo en su vida impulsó a Pablo a continuar su misión, independientemente de las dificultades que enfrentó. Receivers First Confession + Prayer Exam Our Receiver’s First Confession is Saturday, April 13 from 9am-12pm. Receivers will make their first Confessions. Be sure they know their Act of Contrition and review how to go to Confession before they come on Saturday. All Receivers will be tested on their sign of the cross, Hail Mary, Our Father, and Glory Be. All Receiver must know prayers to re-ceive their Fist Communion.

grace of finding the merciful heart of God the Father.

In the month of February, tSt. Clare’s distributed food boxes to 284 families for a total of 1108 individuals and gave 67 packages of diapers for babies. Through home visits, OLV SVdP conference gave to those in need, a total of $6,381.86, in assistance for utilities, rent, gas and miscellaneous.

LENTEN CLAM CHOWDER LUNCHEONS... Fridays, March 8 - April 12, from

11:30-1:30. Serving clam chowder or minestrone soup, coleslaw, homemade pie and a beverage. We always need more people to help and couldn’t put this on without the help of our volunteers. If

you are looking to make new friends or become more active in the Parish, this is a great opportunity to do just that! If you would like to help in the dining room, call Arlene Uptmor 208-585-3937. Lenten Fish Dinners !!! Dinner will be served from 5:00 - 7:00pm on Fridays of Lent starting March 8, through Friday, April 12. Dinner is hosted by the Knights of Columbus for the Parish and Treasure Valley community. We have deep fried and baked Alaskan Cod, coleslaw and French Fries. Cost is $12 adults; $9 seniors (60+); $8 children 5-12; or $40 for a family.

Don’t miss the opportunity - bring family, friends and neighbors to enjoy food, fun and fellowship! Please use the North entrance to Holy Family Hall (gym) for easier parking.

Dinners coincide with the Stations of the Cross starting at 6pm in English and again at 7:00pm in Spanish. Have dinner and participate in this spiritual journey with Christ. See you here!!
