• Calculator - *TI-30XIIS Scientific Calculator (see image on the back of this

calculators don’t. It may be kept at home for use there. I will provide calculators to be

used in school, but they may not be taken home.

• Highlighters- at least 3 different colors (To be replenished throughout the year as

It is extremely important that students have highlighters, as we use them every

day to assist in comprehension strategies.

my website. I will also use remind.com to communicate daily homework assignments

and important messages. Parents will be invited to sign up for these messages in

September.

• If you have any further questions, contact me at the email address listed above.

Image of TI- 30X IIS Scientific Calculator

• These calculators come in many colors. The school provides the black ones for use in

math class. It would probably be a good idea to get a different color for home use, so they

don’t get mixed up if they’re brought to school for some reason.

• There are other brands of scientific calculators that perform the same operations, and look

similar, but may be less expensive than the Texas Instruments model. You may purchase

these brands.
