Municipal theater. Main entrance. Alteration of an existing building. In view of the financial difficulties which handicapped some important building projects during the period of inflation, every project offering a chance to demonstrate the attitude of the new architecture became significant. In this case, the clarity of the design with planes, spatial concept, and precise arrangement of cubes were the chief concern. Designed by Gropius and Meyer. 1923.
