BANDPRESENTATION FRANKY Piease introduce yourselt and how did you get yourself into music? Hi I am Franky, singer and Iead guitarist of 'The Spore'. I worked with all kind of musical styles in the past, but the rockgenrewas the one that gets most of my attention, a true "rock romance". I produced songs as teenager with my brother, these days I do it on my own, too :) One of my biggest passions is to write songs and solos. Which bands and music styles have shaped you? First of all, the rock music of the 90's-2000's like Nirvana and Blink 182. I was also very impressed by Zakk Wylde's guitar-style, especially on the 'Book of Shadows' album. Later, I also enjoyed the harder styles of the heavy metal of the 80's like 'Whitesnake' and some influences from metalcore. I was always a big fan of Steven Tyler's and Freddy Mercury's vocals! Tell us your philosophy of life! "Keep on dreaming boy, because when you stop dreaming, it's time to die." (Blind Melon)

  • What you dislike the most?

Stagnation ... because life is in a constant state of change.

Playing & jamming tagether with the band and playing our songs. The rehearsals are always very refreshing and motivating.

    TOMMY

Piease introduce yourselt and how did you get yourself into music?

Hey, I am Tommy! Actually, I came relatively late into making music. Unfortunately, the educational theory made making music miserableforme initially, but the guitar finally converted me to music once again. Later I was into playing the drums when Franky learned to play the guitar and we founded a band. As the drums should not remain silent, I took over this instrument and since then I play the pulse on the drums for 'The Spore'.

Which bands and music styles have shaped you?

I was always excited by rock music, especially when I changed over to electric guitar. I was fascinated by this style. ln addition to the fact that my guitar coachwas a big blues fan, something rubbed off on me.

Tell us your philosophy of life!

    My philosophy is kindness :)

    What you dislike the most?

I dislike if someone interrupts my conversation and I can't finish speaking.

What connects you with "The Spore"?

Fun and joy making music with friends!

  • LARS

Piease introduce yourselt and how did you get yourself into music?

Hi, I am Chucky (alias Lars) and I play the bass. I already made friends with music quite early, first of all due to my older sisters (thanks for that). They showed me a few good bands and from that point on I entered more and more in the world of sounds. My actual big passion is to play drums, which fascinated me since I was a little kid. I started drumming by myself when I was eight year old. I started playing bass at the age of 15 for the first time, primarily to write songs. When I got to know Franky and entered 'The Spore', the bass developed to my second big Iove.

Which bands and music styles have shaped you?

lt all started with 'die ärzte' (a german band). Bela B. is still one of my great ideals until today. My further musicaltaste extends into the metal section. The classical metal, in the style of 'lron Maiden' or 'Judas Priest', has definitely shaped my style. By and by I was into more complex music of bands like 'Dream Theatre', 'Symphony X', or 'Rage'

(in the constellation Peavy, Smolski, Hilgers). Not only metal but also classic rock, especially of 'Led Zeppelin', takes an important place in my life.

Tell us your philosophy of life!

Remain true to yourself and do what makes you happy.

    What you dislike the most?

    lgnorance and intolerance.

What connects you with "The Spore"?

A similar attitude towards life, the taste of music and of course the joy of making music with friends.

  • MIRIAM

Piease introduce yourselt and how did you get yourself into music?

Yeah, I am Miri and the rhythm guitarist. ln my childhood I learned to play the flute, but I switched to acoustic guitar because I always liked the sound of guitars. Then I feil in Iove with rock music and of course I needed an electrical guitar. Of course I could only say yes when my brother Lars asked me if I would like to play with 'The Spore', for what I am very thankful.

Which bands and music styles have shaped you?

Quite early I started with listening to 'Kiss' and I still do it today. My heroes are especially Paul Stanley and from the older days Ace Frehley. I was also fascinated by 'Nirvana', although that band stopped to exist when I was born. I wasn't really picky about musical styles but mostly I like rock and metal.

Tell us your philosophy of life!

"Never give in, never, never, never, never", because where there's a will, there is a way.

    What you dislike the most?

I dislike, when people draw people into categories for the reason of outer appearance.

What connects you with "The Spore"?

lt simply feels good to make music together, to talk and to laugh.
