Notice is hereby given that the Paris Economic Development Corpo-ration (Paris EDC) is requesting bids for rail construction services.

The PEDC is seeking bids from qualified contractors, to provide Rail Construction Services in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in the Request for Bid (RFB).

SCOPE OF WORK:

Rail Construction Services - The Contractor will be responsible completing work and meeting standards below:

1. The construction of approximately 400 track feet of rail from ex-isting rail up to western PEDC property line to tie into American Spi-ralWeld spur. a. Contractor will be responsible for supplying materials above subgrade. b. Rail will be 115# relay jointed rail with 13 inch DS tie plates – rail will be fully bolted 6 hole joint bars – will tie into existing 90 ra rail c. Rail will be placed upon 6 x 8 grade 3 crossties – spaced at 21inches center to center d. Spike pattern will be 2 gage, 1 field side; anchors will be box anchor per GWRR standard for jointed rail e. GWRR standards will be utilized for construction
