NEXT WEEK IS WEEK ONE OF THE DINNER MENU

Here at Briary we tend to try and promote a full and total curriculum. We are keen to open up as many experiences as possible to the children. This week, as you can see from the pictures, we have dressed up as fictional characters for World Book Day, Year 5 went to the Historical Dockyard at Chatham for an immensely interesting and informative visit, and Years 1 and 3 have taken part in “Forest School” run by Kent Wildlife Trust here at the school.

Not in the pictures but vitally important, a team from Briary participated in a district Spelling Bee and today some of our children have taken part in the first rehearsal for a Dance Festi-val at Herne Bay High School.

All of this is done whilst maintaining constant focus on raising academic standards and attainment for all our pupils.

We have had very positive feedback from external visitors this week, and the comments from the Parents Forum who observed some maths lessons this week were very impressive.
