B-DNAThailand B-DNA is the country’s first and only Business and Biodiversity platform.
The overall goal of the platform is to strengthen the private sector’s role in nature conservation in Thailand, with a focus on contributing to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals and Aichi Biodiversity Targets. Thailand B-DNA provides companies the opportunity to build their awareness and capacity for sustainability, and to network and collaborate on conservation projects across Thailand.

ABOUT THAILAND B-DNA KEY INITIATIVES
B-DNA aims to achieve this by:
Capacity-building workshops
Benefits to B-DNA Members
B-DNA is a membership platform which aims to build a strong network of companies working in collaboration, or independently, towards a sustainable society and economy.
B-DNA aims to facilitate networking and collaboration on conservation projects across the country.
B-DNA has developed a map that shows Thailand’s most important biodiversity and conservation areas, as well as sustainability initiatives being undertaken by IUCN and B-DNA Members across the country.
Members can use this map to identify opportunities for collaboration.
Member companies will have access to at least 4 capacity-building workshops each year. These full-day events will focus on equipping members with the skills and tools required to engage in sustainability and biodiversity conservation. These are the events scheduled for 2019-2020:
1. Introduction to the UN Sustainable Development Goals and why the private sector should help to achieve them
2. Tackling plastic pollution and adopting circular economy practices
3. Business for Ecosystem Training
4. Bridging Business and Biodiversity Conservation in Thailand
