PROJECTS AT POORNIMA COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING AUTOMATIC QUIZ BUZZER :-

Designing an automatic quiz buzzer will prevent biasness and when more than one team presses the buzzer, the delay would be accurately taken into account and the corresponding number would be displayed on the display device. TEAM SIZE : 3

AUTOMATIC DIPPER FOR VEHICLES :-The power component in the project is a LDR which senses the light falling onto it. Therefore, as the light falls on the LDR, the resistance followed by a relay reduces the voltage across the head lamps, thereby help in the automatic dipper of the vehicle.TEAM SIZE : 3

CONVERSION OF MECHANICAL ENERGY TO ELECTRICAL ENERGY VIA TREADMILL :-By using a dynamo, the mechanical energy spent on a treadmill could be efficiently converted to electrical energy. The amount of electrical energy produced depends upon the speed of rotation of the treadmill belt.ACHIEVEMENT: Qualified the semi-final level of the competition.TEAM SIZE : 3

WIRED ROBOT FOR ROBO RACE :-A wired robot built on chassis with four low torque 300 rpm motors, DPDT switches and 10 m jumper wire used with the purpose of race.ROLE IN PROJECT: Controlling the robo.TEAM SIZE : 3
