Pneumatic actuated gate valves offer a good and cost
efficientalternative to other types of actuated gate valves.
The series 715 comprises DN 65-300, PN 10. The pneumaticcylinder
is made of seawater resistant aluminium, and the gate
valve i s made of epoxy coated duc ti le iron.
Features:
The AVK pneumatic gate valve is offered with a linear cylinder
from Festo.
Thereby, we obtain the advantage of Festo's many years'
experience within
pneumatic solutions for the segment of industrial
automation.
An innovative design with a quadruple sealing system between
cylinder andvalve ensures a drop tight connection and a smooth
running operation.
The sealing system is self-cleaning to avoid dirt from
penetrating into the
valve or cylinder which could obstruct the correct closing of
the valve.
The pneumatic gate valve is either with or is without an
accessory kit from
Festo, including solenoid valve, coil, socket connector,
illuminating seal,
push-in fitting, exhaust control valve, slot cover, and
proximity switch for
read-out of valve on/off position.
Valves without accessory kit are delivered with magnetic
proximity switch
and slot cover.Quick couplings ensure fast and easy coupling to
the air supply, and the
exhaust control valve gives the possibility of indefinitely
variable closing time
of the valve.
No need for lubricated air. The only requirement is clean
filtered air.
The pneumatic gate valve is maintenance free and based upon the
same
high-grade quality design known from the standard AVK gate valve
with fully
vulcanised wedge and coating according to DIN 30677.
