National Autism Awareness Day
-Had each fraternity and sorority house light it up blue with
blue Christmas lights and banners; as a chapter we voted on the
best blue house
-Blue is the color for autism awareness
-Held a Xi Marks the Spot awareness treasure hunt on April
4th
-Implemented a $300 goal for each member of Alpha Xi
DeltaMay-Gave sisters fundraising ideas to do over the summer at
home
-Uploaded a formal business letters on Alpha Xi Delta stationary
for sisters to give to business stating:-Who we are-What Autism
Speaks is-Our tax ID number-Why it is important to donate-Who to
contact with questions -Contact informationJune-July-Reminded
members of goals via list-serve emails
-Started a Fundraising tip of the Week that was posted on our
group Facebook page
-Opened an open-forum so members could talk to each other about
fundraisers they found to be successful and events they found to be
a waste of timeAugust-Began calling businesses to set up dining to
donate fundraisers
-Started planning Xi Week Fundraisers and tabling events in in
the student center
-Met with Meredith, Greek Life advisor-Asked questions about
