LDC Earthmoving & Equipment Pty Ltd, trading as LDC Equipment, is an ISO9001:2015 accredited manufacturing company, owned and operated here on the Gold Coast. Located at Arundel, LDC Equipment has over 25 employees to design, develop, manufacture, commission and support our standards compliant equipment that we distribute Australia-wide and overseas.

Our purpose built head office facility incorporates our fabrication and assembly areas, research and development department, engineering and IT and our sales and support network all under the one roof. This allows us to provide technical support to all areas of expertise to our clients in a timely and responsive manner.

Larry Christensen, DirectorLarry started the company LDC Earthmoving Equipment Pty Ltd back in 2001, after coming out of the earthmoving industry of 20+ years. Larry partnered with a local manufacturing company Giga Signs who produced and manufactured electronic safety products, of which LDC bought out in early 2016, renaming it Global Traffic Equipment. Using his contacts in the earthmoving industry, Larry grew LDC Equipment’s client base and product line to what it is today.

Nik Morcus, General Manager / Sales ManagerNik joined the LDC Equipment team in 2013 as a sales representative, coming out of the hire industry after 4 years. He has progressed through the ranks to General Manager and brings over 8 years of experience in the hire and rental industry, utilising the equipment that LDC manufactures.

Suzanne Pfaff, Operations ManagerSuzanne aims to help deliver a premium quality Australian made product in an efficient manufacturing environment. With a previous background in marketing, Suzanne aims to build the LDC brand to become the most sought after in Australian electronic traffic equipment.

Jim Alikhani, Software EngineerJim came on board with LDC Equipment in 2012 as our head software engineer to design, develop and commission software systems and hardware that is used to control and program our equipment. Jim has a Bachelor of Engineering in electronics with over 25 years’ experience in his field of expertise.

Dave Fazio, Customer Service and Tech SupportDave started with LDC back in 2008 as our service technician and has since worked his way through the ranks using his knowledge to become our Customer Service and Tech Support person. Dave’s knowledge with all of our equipment can be easily communicated with his wealth of experience using each and every piece of equipment during this time.

Technology & Engineering

As a manufacturer, we always hold spare parts for repairs. Our dedicated team of service personnel provide after sales service and tech support to our valued customers, including a mobile service.

Fabrication

In-house engineers design & develop our technology to deliver standards compliant equipment. We develop software and hardware, as well as construct circuit boards & components to control and operate our equipment

Our in-house qualified welders fabricate all of our trailers to an exact standard, ensuring a safe structure to house our electronic equipment, ready to go to work on our roads.

Assembly

An experienced team of assemblers work diligently to our strict OH&S and QC procedures, to deliver our premium equipment on time to our clients.
