Sydney Opera House The Sydney Opera house is in Sydney, New South

Wales. Before the Opera House in that spot was a tram shed. 233 designs were submitted for the Opera House

Design Competition held in 1956. In January 1957 Jorn Ultzan won the competition and

won five thousand pounds! It took 7 years to build the model of the opera house

and 17 years to complete the actual building. They thought that the cost was going to come to $7

million but the final cost came to $102 million!

Saltwater Crocodile

• The average saltwater crocodile is as long as 4-5 meters . Its the biggest reptile, and in some rare cases there are saltwater crocodiles that are as big as 7 metres. They weigh from 1000kg-2000kg. As their name implies they can live in saltwater but usually live in swamps, lagoons and rivers. They are carnivores and eat about everything they’re able to catch , which is a lot. They would also easily kill a human.

highest point is 134 meters above the harbour.
