In 2012 AusDesign Ltd. has partnered with one

of the biggest garment manufacturers in

Bangladesh – Beximco – and has developed a

system for using production leftovers in-house.

The industrial upcycling methodology was

originally created on the years-long work of

avoiding 1,83kg of CO2e emissions.

All 23000 Song Festival Up-shirts

combined save:

82 570 000 liters of water

80 040 kWh of energy,

avoiding 41989 kg of CO2e.

reduce to 8,6%.
