rental spaces Rates are for 4 hours unless otherwise stated and vary depending

upon whether it is for non-profit or private use.*

the 4,430-square-foot Davenport family fund main lobby with its contemporary design and a capacity of 1,161 is perfect for a large party or reception. the cost is$1,700 or $2,000.

A considerably smaller gathering can be accommodated in theAugust Wilson Center Café, just off the main lobby. this1,600-square-foot space welcomes 85 seated or 175 standing. inwarmer weather, enjoy outdoor seating on the roy A. Huntfoundation Patio. the rental fee is $550 or $650.

the richard P. & Virginia C. simmons second floorlobby has 1,906 square feet of space and a capacity of 253. it can be rented for $750 or $1,000.

of course, the entire cultural center is available for rentfor a cost of $5,500 or $6,000, but only when the facility isclosed. its capacity is 1,896.

Cateringthe August Wilson Center’s three outstanding caterers,Common plea Catering, parkhurst dining services andshallot Custom events, have a full spectrum of menuoptions. Continental or full breakfasts, lunch buffets, boxlunches, served lunches, appetizers, dinner buffets andserved dinners are all offered. simply select a caterer andtell them what you need.
