If you know someone who could use a helping hand keeping their home warm, local participating Lennox Dealers want to hear from you. For the fifth year in a row, they are participating in the Heat U.P. Wisconsin program, a project of the Wisconsin and Upper Michigan Lennox Dealers as a way of giving back to their communities. “We’re local and we care about this commu- nity and the people who live here,” noted Dave Chatmon, Lennox Dis- trict Manager. “We’re looking for America’s National Night Out is a program designed to draw our com- munities together to form an alliance against crime. Dorie Miller Post No. 546 in Racine recently hosted a “Night Out” and 15 young citizens were sworn in as Junior Deputies by the Ra- cine Police Department. Over 120 children attended along with their parents. Heat U. P. Wisconsin Nominees Sought a family who could use a helping hand, perhaps a veteran, an elder or disabled or someone who just needs help and we’re calling on our com- munity members to help us.” To nominate a family, go on line to www.heatupwisconsin.com or stop in at a local participating Len- nox Dealer and pick up a form. Simply explain why this family should have a new furnace and submit it before August 31. The installation will be on October 4. This project is supported by Lennox Industries who will donate up to 100 furnaces, local participat- ing dealers, who will supply the ma- terials needed to install the furnace and their employees who are donat- ing their time and labor. This is a completely free installation for the chosen entries.
