Athletic Advantage directly responds to the growing number of

student athletes that are either falling through the cracks at

school, being overlooked or under-trained based on their

schools athletic program or lack of exposure. Of the 330,000

high school seniors who play football, only 20,000 college

freshmen continue to play in college, and less than 10,000

received any financial assistance. Generally, only state winners

or nationally ranked athletes are recruited by colleges in

Division 1 schools. Because of these recruitment practices, many

student athletes will never get the chance to pursue their dream

of playing college sports.

Our goal is to increase student athlete’s chances of getting into

Division 1 schools by providing exposure and the necessary

training to perfect and showcase their athletic ability.

Mission

To provide student athletes with personal development, strength, conditioning and

the skills needed to make it to the next level of collegiate sports and beyond. To pro-

vide student athletes with personal development, strength, conditioning and the

skills needed to make it to the next level of collegiate sports and beyond.

My name is Chris Davis and I have been involved in youth athletics as a coach for over 9 years. In those years, I have had the pleasure of coaching some fine athletes, some that successfully advanced to play at the collegiate level. I am originally from Birmingham, Alabama but lived in Phoenix off and on all of my life, attending and graduating from South Mountain High School in 1995 where I played football, wrestled and played basketball. I am a graduate of Ottawa University with a Bachelor in Education and a Masters in Guidance Counseling. I played collegiate sports at both Phoenix College in Phoenix, Arizona where I started as a Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle as well as a brief stint on the Bears Basketball Team before landing an opportunity to play professionally in the Arena II Football League as a part of the Duluth/Superior Lumberjacks where I was made offensive lineman of the year twice. After a knee injury ended my season early, I returned to Phoenix where I rehabbed and tried to make a comeback playing several years in the Cooper State Football League before hanging up my cleats in 2003 when I made my transition into coaching. I am engaged and have six children together with my fiancé April.

Although from time to time, we have the pleasure of welcoming current and former professional athletes for special events, Athletic Advantage has a dedicated full -time staff of Coaches, Trainers, and Educators. Our staff is dedicated to our students and clients not just on the field, but off the field.

We are committed to constant growth and improvement of our programs and services. We recognize that sports is our focus, but nurturing a well -rounded athlete is a better representation of what we aim to do. We believe that educational opportunities, as well as character building, all go together to help our students achieve the athletic goals.
