President’s Message, by Robin H. Roberts Walker
The deadline for the 2015 exhibit is rapidly approaching. . .
Remember March 2, 2015 is the final date for submissions. There is
a slight change in the prospectus. . . Monday, May 25, 2015 will be
the date to pick up your art from the Radius if you are in the show.
The nominating committee has added some new names to
our upcoming board and we are thrilled to have new faces to help in
the huge task of organizing our exhibitions. The nominated slate of
officers will be sent to members by Constant Contact so be watching
your email and please vote. Remember, we need YOU to help us
continue this first class organization so PLEASE contact us if you
are willing to participate. If everyone just does ONE THING, we
can be stronger and better in the years to come.
Be sure and sign up for this year’s workshop and for the workshop in 2016. Both are
incredible national artists and having them available to us is an opportunity you don’t want to
miss.
As always, it is a pleasure and an honor to serve you as president of Texas Watercolor
Society and I welcome any comments or suggestions. You can call me direct at (830) 876-
8980. All the best, be blessed and keep painting. It is good for your soul.
