NEXT STEPS

AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME

“For I am sure of this very thing, that the one who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Philippians 1:6

WHY DO ANYTHING?

WE ARE OUT OF SPACE▪ Children’s has an average attendance of 101 ▪ Youth has 75 on role and will grow to 87 this

summer—the biggest need is to have separate ministry for middle school and high school

▪ Adults have been willing to go wherever they are asked, but are scattered over the building

EVANGELIZE “OUR JERUSALEM”▪ Recent mission outreach to apartments ▪ Become more intentional about serving

the unchurched

WHEN DID ALL THIS START?

2008▪ Investigated conventional educational

building expansion ▪ Floor plans drawn ▪ Thwarted by economy downturn and

diminished membership

2014 - 2015▪ Love.Change.Together.In Christ ▪ Outward focus to our neighbors ▪ Parks and Restoration, Tail Gate Sunday,

Community VBS, Community Thanksgiving meal, Ministry to Apartments, etc.

▪ Realized we were blessed with tremendous property asset that fits our new vision

MAP OF PROPERTY

THE PROPERTY—A GREAT GIFT▪ 16.22 Acres offers some unique abilities

▪ Evangelize our neighborhood ▪ Build more community at

CrossBridge ▪ Show visually to ourselves and our

neighborhood our vision

SHEPHERDS’ DEBT PHILOSOPHY

“It is our position as an eldership that

CrossBridge will not occur any additional debt.

Our longterm goal is to be free of all debt.”

WHAT IS OUR PRESENT DEBT?▪ $1,761,251 as of 1/1/2016 ▪ CrossBridge pays 25% of its budgeted

contribution toward debt service ▪ Bank required payment—$16,410.76/month ▪ 25% requires $19,925.00/month ▪ When Anna Wren Rogers (4th grade) graduates

high school the current debt will be paid
