Sono stati fatti i confronti, nella stessa sera 23 Giugno, di Fides con tutte quattro le stelle allo scopo di ideotificare queste ultime in quanto che io stimai nel 23, la grandezza di * 83 5915 ed inoltre il com- pagno della doppia se 84 lo stimai di 13* mentre il Cord. GC. lo pone di I O ~ . La grandezza di JE 83 & stata trovata nel 1873 nelle osservazioni delle zone di Cordoba 7.5, nel 1878 nelle osservazioni per il Cord. GC. di 8", 6m, 73/,", e fra il 1885 ed il 1891 nelle osservazioni della Durch- musterung di 7.4, per cui sospettai che fosse una variabile.

Brutto sereno, nebbioso, nubi vaganti cosi che si deve smettere. - Luglio I, I 83 7m5. Sereno splendido. - Luglio 2, * 83 8" bene accer- tata; k evidente la diminuzione di splendore; perb sereno fosco, nubi vaganti, infine nuvolo che tronca le osservazioni. - Luglio 3, (B 83 P, molto rossa, a volte sembra pib grande.
Sereno splendidissimo. - Luglio 4 , I 83 7m5. - Luglio 5 , (B 83 8m3 ben sicura; sereno splendidissirno; diminuzione di splendore manifesta. - Luglio 6, diminuzione manifesta. - Agosto 20 , fu riveduta la supposta variabile ma trovata su per gizl di 7" in 8". Si dubita della sua variabilitzl. - Agosto 26, lo stesso.
