It is a winner of many major TourAwards. Starting at Belfast City Hall and finishing right beside the ICC, where the Conference is being held, the tour covers a walking area of about a mile and a half over 2 hours. There will be one organised group walk in the morning leaving at 10 am and one group walk in the afternoon leaving at 2.00 pm. The walk is designed for tourists to understand the history and make a meaningful connection with the city. It visits the sites of some of the most significant events, explaining how the Troubles began, stories of the people involved and how far the city has come since the ceasefires and the Peace Process. You will discover art, architecture, bars and museums in parts of the city you may not otherwise have found. The tour will allow you to better understand Belfast’s recent past and appreciate the reconcilliation and regeneration which has taken place. Tour Guides are extremely well informed, introduce lots of humour and address any questions the tourists may have. As headsets are required, numbers are limited, so please book early to ensure your place. Cost is £10 per person.
