Assisted Living Licensure

The Inn and The Cottage at Cypress Cove both feature Standard Assisted Living and Extended Congregate Care (ECC) licenses.

Assisted Living ServicesAssisted Living Services are specifically designed based on our residents’ personal care needs. Our standard services include support and assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, toileting, and transferring, as well as management and administration of medication.

Assistance with toileting and transferring may be offered based on specific tasks required and will depend on the resident’s ability to self-participate in these activities. Administration and management of medication is provided by a licensed nurse.

Extended Congregate CareAs a specialty licensed Assisted Living community, we offer additional services that include intermittent nursing services for a resident whose health condition is stable. The ECC license is a specialty license that enables a community to provide, directly or through a contract, services beyond those permissible under the standard license. These services may include acts performed by licensed nurses and supportive services defined by rule to persons who otherwise would be disqualified from continued residence in a community licensed under this part.

The primary purpose of ECC services is to allow residents, as they become more impaired, the option to remain in a familiar setting that they would otherwise be disqualified for based on the continued residency criteria. These services are available and require the approval of the Director of Assisted Living in advance.

2020 Fee Schedule

Residence Fees and Services�e Cottage at Cypress Cove offers a comprehensive fee of $250 per day that includes access to the following services and amenities:

• Assistance with all activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, ambulation, and toileting

• Assistance with administration and management of medications by a

�ree meals provided daily, plus snacks and refreshments, in one of ourlicensed nurse

• four dining areas

• Private residences featuring a spacious bathroom with walk-in shower • All utilities, including personal heating and cooling, plus cable and internet • Weekly housekeeping services • Weekly linen and towel service, including personal laundry services • Transportation to scheduled activities, events, and sites

All rates are charged in advance based on the number of days per month.

Non-Refundable Fees• Community Fee: $3,000 • Pet Fee: $500

• Access to Cypress Cove’s Medical Director, a fully licensed physician. Specialty physicians on-site, including a Psychiatrist, Podiatrist, and Dermatologist.

• Full-time, on-site Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner.• Resident care provided under the leadership of a Licensed Nurse on-site 24 hours a day, 7

days a week, and Certified Nursing Assistants.• Situated just footsteps from HealthPark Medical Center.
