Actors are there to clearly certain acts figured worlds is like a customer product that is

important that every culture have and its very well known. Figured world is that any community

has different people share same goals and each one of them is an actor, and any physical ruction

between them is artifact.literacy practices does not just mean the the person has the ability of

readying and writing but include to that is he/she has to know about everyday life, communicatewith different people and responsibility.

The figured world I am observing is studying abroad. This is what i am doing here at the

UNC Charlotte. I believe studying abroad is not just get a degree from overseas, but including

learning about other people culture, language and religions. Being over here has has many skills

that the person can learn from, from these challenge of being away from family and friend, the

person started to find a new way to addicted to the new place, by making some friends that He/

She can spend the new life with them and talk about any thing He/She want to shear just like

their friend back home. There are many things to do here and learn from such as traveling to

different famous cities here gives me lot of experience.and also meeting different people whohave different language has taught me some of their language and they also they have learn about

me, my culture and country.

There are some rules that an international students have to follow such as passing an english

exam with a grade that depends on the school requirement, translating all his/her high school

degree and also an international students have to be full time students. For inappropriate

behaviors is that anything that break the country rules or even the school rules as well. So it is

always a good idea to know more about these rules. There are also some inappropriate behave

that some international students feels after a while missing their family, friends and home which

is home sick, but that can goes away when ever the person making friends and doing someactivities and do what they usually like to do in their free time. There is one thing that i wish all

over seas student to remember is that they are here to go to their classes. Skipping classes that

not going to be helpful and its not the reason why you are here. Unless He/She is sick, or having

an important appointment.

Monday, September 9,2013

Time: 6:00 pm-6:45pm

In this observation, I will describe and talk about a meeting that happened between three of the

international students who goes to UNC charlotte these students are friends and they go to the

same school but each one of them doing something different at UNC Charlotte. This meeting is

about 45 minuets long, and they have talked about many things going on in their life here in

Charlotte U.S.A.

1/ Muhannad who came from jeddah city in Saudi Arabia, and this is his second seamster here at

UNCC. Majoring in Engineering.

2/ Ali who comes form united emirate. He has been here for one year, and he is studying English

language at the moment. He is applying to be in business major, when ever he is done with

studying english.3/ Aziz who come form Saudi Arabia and has been here for two years. He is Engineering. And

this is his first meeting after coming from home for the summer break.

6:00PM-Muhannad has received a call form Aziz(hey Muhannad i am in my way to the caffe

shop, have you guys got there yet) yes Ali and i here waiting for you come one hurry up man.

Muhannad and Ali went to get their caffe and they also got some dessert with it. After that they

decided to set on the outside table because the weather was awesome.

6:10pm-Aziz just arrived, Muhannad and Ali welcomed him after not meeting him for 2 months.Ali went to in said to get everybody caffe. then they started to ask Aziz about His Family,home

and how his break was. Aziz said that his family were really happy for seeing him and spending

sometime with them, after a year of staying over seas, but he said that the weather was so hot

overthrew.

6:22-pm-Aziz said i am glad to see you guys how was summer here? Muhannad said summer

was quite fast after taking summer classes and Ali totally agreed with Muhannad, but he is glad

that he have moved to the next level in his English course.

6:30- Ohh Aziz and Muhannad were very glad that Ali is doing great in his English course and

maybe soon he can join them as a undergraduate student. Then they start to talk about their plan

for this seamster. Muhannad is taking 12 hours credits. Aziz is taking 15hours. But for Ali is

quite different, he goes to class every day every day for same time of class but this is his last

seamster at this English course.

6:40- they have started to plan for this weekend and they decided to play soccer and go out for

dinner and going to movie theater but still the do not know which movie they are going to see.

Aziz went to his car and brought some gifts from home for Muhannad and Ali. then after that

they left after a nice meeting.

Time: 9:15 pm-10:00

In this time all of the actors have met again in this same day that the have met, but this time is

in Aziz apartment.

12:33 Ali found where Muhannad is. and told him about the calls, and Muhannad explained why

he could not here and Ali understand. Then they went out to the parking lot Ali want to give a

ride for Muhannad class, so that way he will not be late.

12:45 After giving a ride Muhannad is his way to class. And Ali in his way to home.

For my interview i have asked one of my old teacher, who have had a great experience

studying abroad

1/ have you studied abroad? tell me about your experience?

yes i have. It was very nice experience that taught me many things improving my secondlanguage, meeting new people and visit new places.

2/ what makes some students go to study abroad?

some students just want to try different place that the are used to go to, for other is to improve

their second language.

3/ what are some of the advantages disadvantages of studying abroad?

some of the benefits is to learn about other culture, who you might just red about them and you

never even met one of them. and also is great to make new friend that comes from other part of

the world. in the other hand there are some things that make you home sick and make you feel

you want to go back home but this happened and goes if you started to do some interesting

things.

4/ what do you advice students that they have not study abroad yet?

that is a great expense, do not miss it if you have a chance. i am sure you will learn a lot that you

may not face in your every day life.

5/ where are some of the most wanted countries and what make them that important?

U.S.A, UK, Australia, Spine, Egypt. people goes to these countries for many reasons but i

believe the language that the want it to learn is of of the them.
