1. Appraise google architecture. How well suited is to the company’s present competative situation?

Ans. Google used his architecture to linked with other sites in essence to allowing web user to vote for sites that had most useful content.

Google distinguish it self by keeping it’s homepage free of the advertisement. to gain over it’s competitor .

Company figured out disadvantage of early search engine company so improve their it structure (computing power )to respond user query quickly.

IT architecture allows add new servers so they are able to handled too much query. For massive computing power they required funding they got funding from venture capitalist

because Brin and Page’s vision were very clear able to male funding. In present situation competition increase Microsoft launch new browser Bing in market ,yahoo

already in market .so Google face some difficulties but Google have strong computing power and try to innovate it’s product. Larger used server by web user so Google able to fight with present situation.

Google developed and diversify its business for long term prospective now they launch new services like Google earth, chrome, ad media.etc.

The company’s operate profit margin 33%ant its return on total assets 20%.shows it’s capability.

2. Analyze Google’s belief system. Are any parts of it’s paradigm outdated?

Ans. The believe that its targeted advertising adds value to both advertiser and reader. simple text link avoid distracting the reader, while company also offers tools to help advertise improve their click through rates. The proportion of reader clicks on link. They earn profit by click on link. so it makes profit for Google. They provide online help to user by tools like spreadsheet, Picasa ,solve mathematical problems. Google increase storage capacity of Gmail to over come it’s competitor yahoo.

Outdated paradigm all products are not profitable they just umbrella brand but company still think n update according to user eg: chrome beta develop after user recommendation.

3. In which sector the geoffy-jones matrix would you place Google ?how appropriate is that culture for the challenges confronting the company?

Ans. Jones defines corporate cultures in two dimensions of behavior.

Sociability : degree of sincere friendliness among an organization members.

Solidarity: extent to which people are able to peruse shared objective.
