Hx of GCS

• Initially developed for clinical eval of Head Trauma pts 6 hrs post injury

• Pts must be fully resuscitated, w evacuation of all surgical lesions, remain HD stable, and not be intoxicated before GCS can predict their prognosis.

• In intubated patients, the maximum GCS score is 10T and the minimum score is 2T.

• Assess the BEST response to EVM
