ASKB Execute Periodic Asset Posting to Full Accrual

Purpose

Use this procedure to post all asset transactions recorded to depreciation area 01 - Modified Accrual todepreciation area 02 - Full Accrual.

Trigger

Perform this procedure as a part of the month-end closing process.

Prerequisites

This transaction must be run after transaction CJ8G - Actual Settlement: Projects/WBSElements/Networks.

R/O/C column in tables represents Required, Optional, or Conditional entry.

This transaction can be reviewed as a printing output. The work instruction shows you how todisplay the information on the screen.

It is a good practice to conduct a test run and review the results prior to posting.

Transaction AFAB - Depreciation Posting Run should be run after this transaction.

Procedure

1. Start the transaction using the menu path or transaction code. The Periodic Asset Postings screendisplays.

2. Select List assets check box.

3. Select List Direct Items check box.

4. Deselect Test Run check box.

6.Select Program Execute in Background F9 . TheBackground Print Parameters dialog box displays.

7. As required, complete/review the following fields:
