Lighting Controls

TTTT heatrelight has been running for 20 years and in

Dance Floors Our Rosco floor is highly portable which is great for situations

where a permanent floor is not

available. Lightweight and non- skid, as

well as flexible. It is easy to roll

and unroll. The floor is reversible with black on one side and your choice of white or grey on the other.

Thickness is 50 mils x 1.6m wide. Sold by the bolt 40m

long, or metre. Install using Rosco Vinyl or Double-

Sided tape only.

Mirrors Rosco Mirrors come in a variety of

reflective surfaces in a metalised plastic format. Flexi-mirror is silver and paper-backed and Rosco’s Shrink Mirror is a lightweight substitute for the heavy glass

mirror. Metalised plastic laminate is mounted in a

frame and heat shrunk for greater

optical performance. It’s design also

makes transport very easy.

The Casualty Simulation Kit includes our Mehron make-up and

accessories. This kit is intended for use

in training emergency personnel to be

both technically and emotionally

prepared in aiding the wounded.

enough hair to go from ear to ear for about

three rows and that the bottom row is the

longest, each row being a little shorter than

the first to give a staggered effect.

4 - Dab a small area of the face with a thin

coat of latex starting near the ear, press the

crepe hair onto it and work your way along fairly close to the bottom of the jaw-line.

(see Figure 2)

Place another line of hair just above so it

overlaps the first to give the beard thickness and width. (See Figure 3)

5 - The moustache needs about one or two

layers of crepe hair one row applied on top of

the other (depending on how thick you want

it). Start from the edges of the upper lip in towards the nose following the natural,

downward growth. (see Figure 4 & Figure 5)

6 -Once latex is dry, trim off the excess hair to desired length. (See Figure 6)

7 - You can use your fingers to gently ease the

hair into shape and give the completed beard a gentle combing.

Set it with hairspray if so desired.

8 - To remove the crepe beard, simply pick off a corner of the latex foundation and gently

pull beard from face. Cleanse face with

warm water or make-up remover to remove

any traces of latex.

This is only a basic guideline. With a little

imagination teamed with our Mehron Inc.

colour range of crepe hair and latex liquid, available, you can create any style.

How To Construct a Crepe Beard If a beard is going to be worn for any

length of time, it is a good idea to construct

it on top of a latex foundation. Latex

foundations can be constructed either on the performers face or on a plaster life

mask.

Materials

• Liquid latex (clear or skin-tone)

• Crepe hair

• Scissors (clean and sharp)

• Comb

• Hair dryer

1- Apply 4-5 thin coats of latex foundation on the area of the face you require the

crepe hair, allow to dry between coats.

(see Figure 1) 2 - Straighten crepe hair by loosening braid

and wetting the hair. Stretch the unbraided

strand completely straight (or to the desired

waviness) and allow to dry. Hair can be force-dried with a blow dryer or an iron set

to ‘wool’. (It’s a good idea to cover it with

a clean, cotton handkerchief before

ironing).

3 - Cut the crepe hair a bit longer than

desired length. Make sure that you have

STAGING

Ashton Admor provide a range of

high quality portable staging for hire or purchase, all designed to create

a stunning setting for your show or

promotion. The staging can be

constructed to many different sizes. The tops can be black carpet or

painted wood finish.

For fashion parades we often cover the stage in white calico as an eye-

catching feature.

The stage can be dressed in black, red velour, blue, green, white or any

colour of your choice. The staging

comes in heights of 300mm, 600mm

or 900mm. We also have experienced staff to install your

staging to the highest of standards.

Permit (T.P.O.P) courses to enable operators to obtain their permit form the Dept. of Minerals and Energy.

The course is held at 34 Hargreaves

St Belmont and include hands-on operation of a number of

pyrotechnics.

Our AKG PR81 UHF wireless microphone system is primarily

designed for use in video and TV

camera-mount applications. It can be used also as a

distribution system for multiple

language translations in houses of

worship, conferences and guided

Anything from a spruiker box to a full concert sound system or a single light

to a full lighting display.

Chris Stace our hire manager will do all he can to ensure you receive the

professional assistance you expect.

We can supply simple equipment that you can easily operate yourself or for

more complex jobs, we are able to

provide a trained technician to organize and operate the equipment

for your function.

Add this to your staging and set requirements and you have a total

package provided with a high

standard of service.

If you prefer, we can even deliver,

install and later dismantle and remove

the equipment. Or if you are handy

but on a tight budget you can do it all yourself.
