A Group-Based ABC Class Dates: 6 Jun to 29 Aug (Thu) Time: 7.45 pm to 9.45 pm Venue: Room 206 We have conducted 7 group-based classes in the past and the participants have found them helpful for their spiritual growth. You are encouraged to attend such class even if you have been a Christian for some time. The class is conducted by a committed leader and he provides a very good foundation for you to grow in your Christian faith. To find out more about the class or to register, please text or email Ps George directly.
Family Day Outing Cancelled The Family Day outing on 9 June is cancelled and we will have our usual 2 services. Please note that YZ will also resume as usual. However there will be no U12 classes on that day. Parents are encouraged to bring their children to the worship services.
Church Prayer Meeting Date: 12 Jun (Wed) Time: 7.45 pm Venue: MPH Focus: Missions Please note that the Church Prayer Meeting in June has been shifted to 12 Jun (2nd Wed) because 5 Jun (1st Wed) is a public holiday. The heartbeat of God is “Missions”. This Church prayer meeting is led by the Missions Committee. We will be praying for the ongoing mission efforts of the church in different parts of the world.
SCREENed Workshop for Parents and Children Aged 11 to 14 Date : 20 July (Sat) Time : 9am - 11.30am Venue : Bethesda (Bedok-Tampines) Church Fee : $50/parent-child pair Trainers: Mr Joshua Liong and Mrs Joanna Koh-Hoe from Focus on the Family Singapore Managing children’s use of devices is a top priority for many parents. To help families gain control over technology in their homes, SCREENed facilitates parent-child communication about healthy screen time and gadget usage in a fun learning environment. Results of ACM Election on 19 May 2019
We would like to congratulate Rev Edwin Wong who has been successfully elected as our Associate Minister for another term of 4 years.
A Word of Thanks We want to thank the Lord for those who have faithfully served their term of 3 years as elder and deacons. At the last ACM, they have officially stepped down from leadership. They are Elder Lawrence Fu, Elder Eddy Teo, Dn Charles Lee, Dn Soon Chong Guan, Dn Bernard Leong and Dn Jack Tan Support needed for TWPC (Chinese Church) 80th Anniversary Fund-Raising Carnival Date: 3 Aug (Sat) Time: 1pm-4pm Venue: TWPC In celebration of her 80th Anniversary, the Chinese Church is organizing a fund-raising carnival on Sat 3 August. This is in partnership with Queenstown CC and all proceeds of the carnival will be donated to the needy families in Queenstown. Members and regular worshippers are invited to support the carnival by running games stalls and/or food stalls. DGs and YZ DGs are encouraged to sign up as a group to run the stalls. This is a great opportunity for us to extend our service, love and support for our mother church. Registration for the stalls is required.
