Warrior One yoga studio by Golden
Warrior One is a yoga studio in bayside Melbourne designed by Golden that seeks to create an organic, sensory experience for guests. The design is inspired by the nearby ocean, with bleached-out, hand-textured walls and ceilings and exposed beams contributing to a sophisticated coastal aesthetic. A sculp-tural reception desk, geometric light fittings and pink marble in the bathroom help to create a luxurious, transcendent experience. Photography — Sharyn CairnsGolden — designbygolden.com.au
The Bábbarra collection from Willie Weston
The Bábbarra fabric and wallpaper collection from Willie Weston was developed in partnership with artists Susan Marawarr and Elizabeth Kandabuma from Maningrida in Central Arnhem, who created original artworks for the collection. Susan Marawarr’s artwork, Wak Wak, features intricate rrark (cross-hatching) that refers to the ancestral being Djimarr, significant in Central Arnhem Land. Elizabeth Kandabuma’s Mud Ripples depicts the patterns of freshwater ripples that emerge after monsoonal wet seasons.Willie Weston — willieweston.com
