4.3.2 GOLD PLATING:

ELECTRODEPOSITED HARD GOLD PLATING SHALL BE 0.50 - 1.00 um OVER 3.00 - 6.50 um LOW STRESS NICKEL.

GOLD PLATING SHALL BE A MINIMUM OF 99.7% PURE AND HARDNESS SHALL BE 130-230 KNOOP.

SELECTIVE IMMERSION GOLD: (PER ARTWORK SUPPLIED) GOLD PLATING SHALL BE 0.03 - 0.10 um OVER 3.00 - 6.50 um

ELECTROLESS NICKEL. A PHOSPHORUS CONTENT OF 8 to 12% BY WEIGHT SHALL BE MAINTAINED.

FULL IMMERSION GOLD: GOLD PLATING SHALL BE 0.03 - 0.10 um OVER 3.00 - 6.50 um ELECTROLESS NICKEL.

4.4 VENDOR/DATE CODE LOCATION AS SPECIFIED ON FABRICATION DRAWING

5.0 OTHER:

5.1 REPAIR AND REWORK: REPAIRS TO CORRECT BROKEN, NICKED OR THIN CONDUCTORS ARE NOT ALLOWED. THERE SHALL BE NO REPAIR TO ANY CRITICAL NETS

IDENTIFIED ON THE FABRICATION DRAWING. SHORTS MAY BE REPAIRED IN ACCORDANCE WITH IPC.

5.2 ELECTRICAL TESTING: PER IPC-9252 CLASS 2. ALL BOARDS MUST BE 100% ELECTRICALLY TESTED FOR CONTINUITY AND ISOLATION.

5.2.1 ANY NET LIST GENERATED FROM GERBER OR CAD DATA MUST BE ELECTRONICALLY COMPARED TO THE SUPPLIED CAD NET LIST. ANY DISCREPANCIES

MUST BE RESOLVED BY MOTOROLA ENGINEERING.

5.2.2 BAD BOARD INDICATORS: THE X-OUT PAD ON THE ARRAY WILL BE REMOVED BY DRILLING OUT THE ENTIRE X-OUT PAD.

AN INDELIBLE BLACK INK "X" MARK SHALL COVER 50% OF THE BAD BOARD ON BOTH SIDES.

THERE IS A MASTER X-OUT PAD WHICH WILL BE DRILLED OUT AND READ TO INDICATE THE PRESENCE OF A BAD BOARD ON THE ARRAY.

5.3 PACKAGING:

5.3.1 ARRAYS SHALL BE PACKED TO PREVENT DAMAGE IN SHIPPING AND HANDLING PER MOTOROLA SPEC 1210601A.

5.3.2 ALL MATERIALS SHALL BE SILICONE, SULFUR AND CHLORINE FREE AND BE NON-ABRASIVE AND NON-CONTAMINATING.

2 X-OUT PACKED SEPERATELY AND SO ON.

5.3.3 ALL ARRAYS WITH BAD BOARDS SHALL BE PACKAGED SEPERATELY. ARRAYS WITH BOARD 1 X-OUT TO BE PACKED SEPERATELY. ARRAYS WITH BOARD

5.3.4 ARRAYS ARE TO BE WRAPPED OR SEALED IN MOISTURE RESISTANT PLASTIC BAGS IN MULTIPLES OF 25 ARRAYS MAX. A LABEL SHALL BE PLACED ON

THE OUTSIDE OF EACH SEALED PACKAGE INDICATING THE MOTOROLA PART NUMBER,QUANTITY OF BOARDS AND DATE CODE.

5.3.5 PACKAGE MATERIAL SHALL BE METALIZED POLYESTER, PUNCTURE RESISTANT AND VACUUM-SEALED. THE MATERIAL SHALL MEET OR EXCEED THE

MOISTURE/WATER VAPOR TRANSMISSION RATE (M/WVTR) REQUIREMENT PER ASTMF 1249-90.

5.3.6 DESICCANT BAG AND MOISTURE INDICATOR SHALL BE PLACED EITHER BETWEEN THE BACKER OR BOARD AND OUTER PACKAGING. A MOISTURE

INDICATOR SHALL BE PLACED OPPOSITE OF THE DESICCANT. CONTOL TO 40% RH.

5.3.7 WHEN NECESSARY, HARD BOARD BACKERS ARE TO BE USED TO PROTECT FRAGILE BOARDS/ARRAYS.

6.0 PART QUALIFICATION:

6.1 ALL PRODUCTION MATERIAL SHALL BE QUALIFIED PER 12G13933C84, ASSESSMENT PLAN 2, FLOW 1.

FOR FLOW 1 SECTION 4.5.1.2, USE 5X REFLOWS AND THERMAL SHOCK REQUIREMENTS PER OPTION B.

6.2 PRIOR TO PART QUALIFICATION, SUPPLIER MUST PROVIDE ALL REQUIRED INFORMATION TO MEET THE APPROPRIATE ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA OUTLINED
