    Utopia,DystopiaandthePostApocalypseDrawingattheEndof theWorldUtopianFlyingMachines,MadMax,HuxleysBraveNewWorld andPlatosRepublicareallrichimaginativematerialforartists. Utopian,DystopianandPost-Apocalypticfiction,film,art, architectureandmusicwillbeusedassourcematerialforstudioprojectsthatexploreandexpandthebreadthofcontemporary drawingpracticeandtheuseofcolorindrawing.Studentswill buildasynthesisofobservational,visual,technicaland conceptualskillsinbothwetanddrydrawingmedia.Theclass willconsistofgroupdiscussionsaboutassignedmaterials, screenings,studiopractice,individualmeetingsandgroup critiques.

    question whymaterialchoicesaremadeandanalyzetheaffectthesematerialshaveandtoseamlesslymergeform andcontent.

    Toexploredrawingasautonomouspractice,asavehicleforfullyrealizedartistprojectsanddevelopedbodiesoffinisheddrawings.
