KOMPACT is adjustable in rise,going and rotation. The sense ofdirection of the staircase can beclockwise or anti-clockwise.

Is there an existing opening?Locate amongst the 156 plansone which is smaller than thedimensions of the ceilingaperture. Bear in mind that theceiling aperture must be at leastas wide as the staircase minustwo treads (Diagram 1).

Do you still have to make theopening?Identify amongst the 156 plansthe one which is best suited toyour stairwell: the ceiling aperturemust be at least as wide as thechosen plan minus two treads (Diagram 1 ).

KOMPACT is composed of 12treads with 13 rises and a railingon one side.The treads, complete with railing,are 74 cm or 89 cm wide.

KOMPACT has two configurations:L-shaped with 1/4 of a turn U-shaped with 2/4 of a turn KOMPACT is adjustable in rise,going and rotation.

By purchasing one or more sup-plementary RISES, the height ofthe staircase can reach 373 cm.Supplementary rises consist ofstructure, tread and railing. Toachieve heights inferior to 225 cm,you can assemble a lower num-ber of treads. (Tab.7)

The supplementary RAILINGprotects the second side of thestaircase when it is far from thewall. It is a module composed of 5balusters, handrail and fixings.The RAILING increases the dimen-sion of the staircase by 4 cm.In diagrams 2 and 3 you cancount the number of balustersnecessary on the second side ofthe staircase (the balusters arerepresented by numbers anddots).

Example: if you wish to apply thesupplementary RAILING only onthe left side of the KOMPACT 74staircase, as in diagram 2, youwill need to add up the quantity ofbalusters: 3 + 4 + 2 = 9and therefore order 2supplementary RAILING modules. The supplementary BALUSTER

allows the protection of theupper-floor aperture. It is a 120cm module, composed of 10balusters, handrail and fixings.

KOMODA is adjustable in rise, goingand rotation during the installation. Thisallows, along with the maximum adaptabilityto the stairwell, rectilinear configurations with oneor two corners.The treads and the handrail are in light (natural) or dark tintedsolid beech. The metal parts are varnished black (RAL 9017),white (RAL 9010) or grey (RAL 9006). Finishes are black for theblack staircase and grey for the grey or white staircases.The railing consists in varnished steel balusters and stainlesssteel cables running parallel to the handrail.

KOMODA has an adjustable height between 191 and 303 cm.By purchasing certain supplementary items, the staircaseheight can reach 373 cm.
