Your role

• To be trained- 3 training sessions: June, September, January

• Visit each club twice• Help clubs to become Distinguished• Hold 2 Area Council meetings- comprising

Presidents, VPE’s and VPM’s• Hold an Area Conference, including the contests

Club Visit Tips• Ring the Presidents regularly- find out their best contact

methods eg phone, email• Establish rapport- ask questions• Consider a non-official visit first eg officer installation,

officer training, judge at club contests• Determine what the club’s specific needs are and

customise your visit• Ask when is suitable to visit officially

Club Visit Tips• Send the President the Club Visit Report before the visit• Ask to be on the program eg give a manual speech or a

presentation, District news update, DCP, The 2 Tracks, Growing Membership

• Ask to meet with as many of the executive after the meeting to fill in the Club Visit Report together

• Check the District Performance Reports status before your visit

• Check out the club website before your visit

Club Visit Report• Ask for specific information eg the project the member is

up to• Ask to be included on the club email list• Keep copies of the Club Visit Reports in your Area
