receiving, constructing meaning from, and responding to verbal/non-verbal messages.

This sounds sooo easy… even an

infant could listen!

Lucy Listener can only listen to 150-250 wpm, BUT Speaky Sullivan can speak at 500 wpm.

Lucy Listener only recalls 50$ of what is heard, and forgets 20-25% of that in 1-2 days!!!

You can become a LISTENING LEGACY if you are: 1. Prepared (stop, look, and listen!) 2. Concentrated (Focus on the

speaker and message) 3. Concentrate..more. (record

details, refrain from interrupting, review what was said)

4. Taking notes and studying them (write V.I.P ideas, word it your way, watch where you put it, wade through the info again)
