ARCSA Accreditation Renewals Will Now Align With Membership Renewals

In an effort to make our membership renewal and professionalaccreditation renewal processes more straightforward, ARCSA memberswith accreditations will now have the same renewal date for both. Overthe next several months, we will begin transitioning each of our accreditedmembers to this new process of simultaneous renewal. Yourmembership renewal date will remain the same, only now, you will renewyour accreditation (pay the fee and submit your CEUs) at the time of yourmembership renewal. It will still consist of two payments. Accreditedmembers that are part of a Business Membership will be reminded torenew their personal accreditations at the time of the BusinessMembership Renewal Date. The goal is to automate this process so you don't have to remember torenew your accreditation as well as your membership. If your profile isupdated to reflect this, you may receive an email confirmation that statesthat you have made this change and includes a download for CEUsubmission. You will not need to take any action until your regularmembership renewal date. As always, please feel free to contact us [email protected] with any questions.

ARCSA will offer our nationally recognized two-day rainwater harvestingworkshop May 3 & 4 in Key West. The registration fee includes training, acomprehensive manual and lunches. The Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority encourages customers to conservewater and harvest rainwater. When connecting to a central-sewersystem, Florida Administrative Code 64E-6.011 allows conversion ofotherwise-abandoned intact single-family-home septic tanks to non-potable rainwater cisterns. More info from Florida Department ofHealth Emptying, cleaning and sanitizing a septic tank, then installing a pump isrelatively simple, but the conversion requires close attention to four criticalaspects, Bugs, Labeling, Overflow and Buoyancy. The ARCSA workshop will address general rainwater harvestingprinciples as well as these important converted-septic-tankcharacteristics. More InfoRegister
