COMMITMENT TO COMPETITIVE SWIMMING

Swim at least 50 yards (2 laps) legally

Have basic knowledge of all 4 competitive strokes

Must commit to daily training:-over 2000 yards a day (80 laps)-weight training twice a week-running/med. balls workouts- abdominal /plyometric training

COMMITMENT TO COMPETITIVE DIVING

Willing to become proficient in at least 6 different dives off of a one meter diving board.

Dives include: Front dives, back dives, inward dives, reverse dives, dives with twists and somersaults

Training-Able to travel to Collins Hill Pool 2-3

times weekly

HIGH SCHOOL PRE-SEASON STROKE CLINICS

Stroke Clinic: Beginning Saturday, August 24th, every Saturday through September 2812:00 pm.

DIVING CLINICSBetty Hudson will be starting a new

preseason dive class at Mountain Park Pool effective Monday, August 19, 2013. The classes will meet every Monday and Wednesday nights from 7-9 PM. There will be two monthly sessions leading up to the dive season opener. Register directly at Mountain Park Aquatics Center on line or go by the pool. The cost is $120.00 per 8 week session.
