The Bingo Volunteer Dinner will be held on Thursday, January 10th at Woodside at 6:30 pm. Hope to see you there! There will be a Bingo Committee Meeting on Monday, January 14th 7:30 pm at Woodside. We hope you can attend.
As of January 6, all donations made to the church (pledge, offering, special funds, etc.) will be credited to your account for 2019. IF YOU ARE TURNING IN MONEY THAT WAS TO BE CREDITED TO YOUR 2018 PLEDGE, PLEASE MARK YOUR DONATION CLEARLY. Thank you.
Just a reminder to all students that will be applying for the Karpey/Matolyak Scholarship this spring. You need to participate in a church service project that directly benefits Archangel Michael Orthodox Church. College students should plan ahead to participate in a service project over winter break when they are home from school. The service project needs to be completed before you apply for the scholarship. Please email Fr. John to set up a service project. Any questions, please see Larissa Young.
If you wish to have your house blessed during the season of Theophany, please contact the church office to set up a date and time. House Blessings are done by request only.
Thank you to Fr. John for his prayers and visits during my recent hospital stay. Also, thank you to my church family and friends for your prayers and cards. In Christ, Ronnie Misichko.
Please save the date of Sunday, February 17th for the Annual Parish Meeting at Woodside. It is important to remember that this is YOUR church, and this Annual Meeting is vital for keeping all parishioners up-to-date with the financial happenings of the church.
Thanks to everyone who came out and enjoyed some fellowship, beverages and of course, fried bologna on New Year’s Eve! We had over 40 in attendance to say goodbye to 2018! Thanks to Ray Kogler for organizing.
Once again, Yurch Funeral Home has graciously donated the Saint Tikhon’s Monastery 2019 Lectionary Wall Calendars for our parishioners. They will be available in the Church Lower Level for the next few weeks, starting on January 6. Please take yours (and any others you can deliver) to save the church on postage.
Karen Visocky is collecting 2019 Cleveland ‘R’ Club dues. Dues is $60/adult and $32/college students and is DUE BY JAN. 15! See her in church, or mail your dues to her home at 115 Valley Brook Blvd., Hinckley, OH 44233. Contact Karen with questions at 330.225.8835.
Choir Rehearsals will resume their Thursday schedule this week. Rehearsals are held EVERY OTHER THURSDAY at 7pm in the Church. Upcoming dates are: Thursday, January 10; Thursday, January 24; Thursday, February 7.
The Church is seeking updated email addresses for our parishioners. Please note that the church has been utilizing EMAIL BLASTS to send reminders, service or event cancellations and other important church information. WHILE THE ARCHANGEL AND WEEKLY BULLETIN ARE ALSO DISTRBUTED THROUGH EMAIL – YOU CAN STILL RECEIVE HARD COPIES IF YOU WISH. The email distribution is vital to send out important information quickly – to keep the parish better informed of events and happenings around the church. Please email [email protected] ASAP!

Join Kate Kirsh and her fellow Trim Healthy coach Vickie Henman to learn about a new way of eating that is both
healthy and slimming. We are holding a free class in the lower level on Thursday, January 17 from 6-8 PM. Come try some
delicious food and learn about the plan that helped Kate lose and maintain a 40 pound weight loss. Vickie will talk about how she helped her husband lose 100 pounds following this
