HELLO FROM THE 8TH GRADE TEAM!
COUNSELING CORNER
Greetings Argyle Families!
We are beginning the 4th marking period. The year has gone quickly. It is important to focus on the three R?s as we conclude the school year. Students: Are you being responsible for your work? Are you being reflective by making good choices? Are you being respectful in your interactions with peers and adults? The end of the year will be busy with field trips, 8th grade events, and promotion ceremonies. It is important to focus on your tasks, follow the rules, be on time, and enjoy the upcoming events. These tips will help you enjoy the last quarter!

How long have you been a teacher?
This is my fifth year at Argyle. Before coming to Argyle, I spent two years as a long-term sub and para-educator at Northwood High School.
What made you want to become a teacher?
A passion for sports and fitness.
What is your favorite unit to teach?
Wrestling. I enjoy exposing students to a new sport/experience. Students come in with preconceived ideas about wrestling based on what they see on tv, and I get to teach them what the sport is really about.
What is something that people don?t know about me?
I am the second of four boys.
Where did you go to school?
I was born and raised in Montgomery County. I attended school at Wood Middle
School, and then Rockville High School. I graduated from University of Maryland with a degree in Physical Education.
What is your favorite part about working at Argyle?
I love working with my department. We have a great rapport, and good communication. We?re all on the same page. This year we dressed as Troll Dolls. Last year, we were
the cast of Dodgeball.
What is your favorite sport?
Lacrosse. I am the head coach of varsity lacrosse at Richard Montgomery High School.
