notes that this project would ideally result in a family of modular structures of various shapes to

accommodate different site layouts and provide greater shade coverage; however, given the

agency’s limited schedule and budget, hereby gives to the same unanimous preliminary

approval with the understanding that the Department of Parks & Recreation will (1) work to

minimize the structural elements as much as possible; (2) consider the use of aluminum and L-

Beams; (3) revise the structure back to a rectangular shape if a family of structures is not

possible; (4) increase the slope of the roof as previously shown or revise it to be flat; (5)
