परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था क ओर से िश क दवस क शुभकामनाएँ!

िश क के संत डॉ. सवप ली राधाकृ णन का एक िस कथन है-

“When we think we know, we cease to learn”

वा तव म िश क के उ म क ाथिमकता िव ा थय के मि त क म िज ासा उ प न करना और त प चात् प रभािषत िश ा ल य के िलए उनका िनरंतर मागदशन करना होना चािहए। इस या म कुछ िव ाथ डगमगायगे और तब िश क को उ ह सहारा देना है, और कुछ िव ाथ कसी िवषय म गहरी िच लगे, तब िश क को उ ह

ो सािहत करना है, और फर भी कुछ अ य िव ाथ दलच पी िवहीन ह गे और ऐसे िव ा थय का िश क को पता लगाना चािहए, उनक वा तिवक िचय को िचि नत कर उनक सहायता करनी चािहए। हम पुन: अपने संत के िवचार पर उनक वत: िस अिभ यि के साथ आते ह- “The true teachers are those who help us think

for ourselves.” परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था म ऐसे कई िश क िव मान ह, ऐसा मेरा िव वास है।

परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था ने इस वष 45 रा ीय िश क पुर कार सूची म प.ऊ.क.िव.-4, मंुबई क ीमती संगीता सोनी [ नातको तर अ यािपका (चयनमान) रसायन िव ान] क उपि थित के साथ रा ीय िश क पुर कार-2020 म अपनी

भावशाली छिव का पुन: दशन कया है। हम गौरवाि वत ह। यह ित ठा अजन के िलए म ीमती संगीता सोनी जी को बधाई देता ँ।

ितकूल प रि थितय के कारण हम िमले दूर थ िश ा िवक प के संचालन म असाधारण यास और कौशल दशन के िलए म परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था के िश क समुदाय को बधाई देता ँ। वा तव म हम जान चुके ह क स चे िश क रा -िनमाण का अपना काय जारी रखने के िलए या कर सकते ह। िश ण के इस मा यम से अ य थ होने के िलए म सम त िश क को े रत करता ँ य क िश ण का यह मा यम कुछ लंबे समय

तक हमारे उ म म रहेगा। ‘नई-सामा य’ ि थित म वचुअल क ाएँ औपचा रक िश ा का एक मह वपूण घटक ह गी।

म िनि चत ँ क प.ऊ.िव. प रवार इस बात से आ व त होगा क उनके ब चे उिचत हाथ म ही ह। परमाणु ऊजा िवभाग के शीष बंधन का अनवरत समथन हमारी उ नित म सहायक रहा है। हम अपने उस गौरव को वापस हािसल करना है जो क को चग ‘फै ट रय ’ के हाथ म चला गया था। कुछ क पर ‘enrichment lectures’ के ारा प.ऊ.िव. वै ािनक समुदाय परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था के यास के समथन के िलए उपल ध है, और म सभी क पर िवशाल वै ािनक और तकनीक समुदाय से िवनती करता ँ क अपने

ान व अिभ िचय का कुछ अंश िव ा थय को बांटकर भावी नाग रक के िनमाण म भागीदारी कर।

परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था के कुछ सेवारत िश क का द:ुखद परलोकगमन आ। हम उनके ित शोकाकुल ह।

परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था कोिवड-19 से भािवत ई, हालां क यह भाव सीिमत है। परमाणु ऊजा िश ण सं था जन ित के िलए सहानुभूित कट करती है। हाथ क उिचत साफ-सफाई, उिचत फेस मा क उपयोग और सोशल िड ट सग, जब भी संभव या आव यक हो, के िलए सजग रहने को हम वयं को अ य त करना होगा।

Dear Colleagues

Greetings from Atomic Energy Education Society on Teachers’ Day

“When we think we know, we cease to learn.”- Was a famous quote of

the Guardian Saint of Teachers, Dr Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. Indeed,

the main endeavour of a teacher should primarily be to raise curiosity

in the minds of the students and then guide them towards their defined

learning goals, and even beyond. In the process, some students will

falter and the teacher should support them, some will get deep into a

subject and the teacher should encourage them, and yet some others will

appear disinterested and the teacher should explore them, to help them

identify their real interests. So, we come again to the thoughts of our

Guardian Saint, with his axiomatic expression - “The true teachers are

those who help us think for ourselves.”- AEES has some of them, I believe.

AEES has again exhibited its tall presence with the National Award to

Teachers 2020 being conferred on Smt Sangeeta Sohni [PGT(SS)-

Chemistry] of AECS-4, Mumbai, as one of the 45 awardees this year.

This fills our hearts with pride and I congratulate Sangeeta Ji for

getting us the laurels.

I congratulate the Teachers’ Community of AEES for showing

phenomenal endeavour and prowess in handling the exercise of Distance

Education, which we have been led into due to uncanny circumstances.

Indeed, we have come to know what a sincere teacher can do to continue

with the task of Nation-building. I urge upon all the teachers to get

accustomed to this mode of teaching as it is going to be our calling for

quite some more time. In the ‘neo-normal’ situation, virtual classrooms

will constitute a significant part of formal education.

I am certain that the DAE community rests assured that their wards are

in good hands. The relentless support of the top management of the

Department of Atomic Energy has helped us grow and we intend to get

back the part of our glory that we have lost to the coaching ‘factories’.

We have the DAE scientific community backing up the efforts of AEES,

at some of the Centres, by way of ‘enrichment lectures’, and I urge upon

the large scientific and technical communities at all the Centres to

participate in building up the future citizens by sharing a part of their

knowledge and interests with the students.

We have had some sad demises among the serving teachers. AEES

mourns for them.

AEES community has been affected by COVID 19, though to a limited

extent. AEES condoles the bereavements. We must teach ourselves to be

careful with proper hand hygiene, usage of proper masks and social

distancing, whenever possible or necessary.

Take care, be safe, under the ‘neo-normal’ scenario.
